I'm calling an engineer, our lawyer, and the bank first thing tomorrow. Sellers want to go to contract by the end of the week. I'm not quite sure how to go about e/t. Is it feasible to think we can get an engineer in by tues? Sellers had a person back out so there is another engineer report, but we of course want our own. This is so overwhelming! TIA!

Re: sellers accepted offer now what?
Have the seller's attorney send your attorney the contracts.

Yes! We got an engineer in 3 days. I know you might be excited but try and take your time. Really look over the report and then you have to see what you want them to do, either fix it or lower the price.

CONGRATS!! i think it is feasible, however i hear that the lawyers tend to drag their feet. if at all possible pick up the contract personally from the seller's attorney, review w/ yours and then hand deliver it back. you could also have it fed-exed overnight to expedite the process.

Definitely doable. Offer was accepted on a Saturday and I was able to get inspection Sunday morning. FM me if you want the inspectors info. He also does termite inspection.
