Ok, I'm going to sell or donate my wedding dress. I'd rather sell it b/c we aren't doing the long form this year and can't write it off, and I'd love to offer a designer dress to someone looking for a deal. What do you think? How much do you think I could sell it for? Maybe Ebay?
My dress is an Amy Michelson (2001 new designer of the year), diamond white silk, and it was originally a size 8 but it's been taken in to my measurements (34' bust 27 1/2' waist unsure about hip).
I bought it for $3600 at Kleinfelds plus $400 alterations (it's got a beautiful, detailed French bustle to keep the integrity of the back detail). I was thinking of selling it for $1600, or maybe less.
Just wanted to say it's absolutely stunning, you look like an angel in it! If I didn't have a dress I would consider it! Good luck!

Re: Selling my dress
Thanks, I hope someone wants to buy it. It's in much better condition than a sample, as it was only worn for 6 hours, and most samples have been tried on for months.
Any suggestions on how much to sell it for? Or if that will even be possible?

Re: Selling my dress
It's a beautiful dress, I'm sure you'll have no problem selling it quickly. You could even do just a NY sale - I think ebay still has that option...Best of Luck!!!
