Semi-Casual Updo Styles?

Does anyone have pics of a semi-casual updo style that would be appropriate to wear as a GUEST to a wedding?

I always wear my hair down or half up/half down for any fancy occasions, and who would have thought I pushed my hair up into a ball on top of my head last week watching TV, and FH couldn't stop saying how much he liked it that way and that I should wear my hair up more often. Go figure

I'm definitely NOT going to heed that opinion and wear my hair up for the wedding, but I figured I'd throw him a bone and wear my hair up next month to the wedding we're going to, because my dress is kind of goddess-y, so it can work. But all the pics I've been finding are clearly meant for the bride, or too formal for just a regular guest.

Does anyone have pics of looser, curly/wavy updos that would be appropriate for this situation?

I would just look at what stars are wearing on the red carpet!!! Thats how I picked my hair for the wedding cause I didnt want a typical bride feel

Thanks girls! I'll have to see what I am able to swing myself...I'm awful at doing my own hair and I was hoping to not have to go to a salon for this.
