so my girls and i went yesterday to order their dresses from burtons cuz they were 100 cheaper there. but im kinda aggitated with them. When the dresses come in i asked if they could come in and try them on and they said NO!!!!! can you believe that.. they said they dont do that. sorry. and i said what if theres a problem? and they said 'in 15 years we've never had a problem' i was actaully very upset about this. and was kinda pissed that they werent trying to make me happy. Has anyone else been told this???

Thats really weird. Did they give you a reason? I would expect that most places allow this.

so when the dresses come in you just pick them up and leave...?? I dont get it....cause when the dresses come in dont you need to try them on to see if you need alterations. Like what is you got short shoes and need it hemed??

Im so sorry to hear this!! I ordered all my dresses with them too!!
I believe, to answer another girls question....they HOLD your dresses until your last alternation, so you dont HAVE to pick them up and take them home if you dont want to (unless theres no alternations needed, then I guess you just take it home) But there is no excuse why you couldnt just come in and try it on, absolutely!! Are they holding your dress hostage, ***??!!! Who did you speak to there??? Carole? Where they insinuating that unless you are getting it ALTERED that day, you cannot come in and try it on....is that what they were saying?????
Hmmmm, Im so disappointed in them, b/c they really do have the best prices and they were nice to me up to this point, but then again...my dresses and the girls dresses arent in yet!!!
