Semi-WR Mrs.’s & Brides to be w/ Curly Hair

I’m looking for a new hairdresser. Can you recommend someone who you use or who a friend or family member uses? I would prefer someone in Nassau but I am flexible.
Does anyone know of someone good in NuBest?

I don't know what NuBest is, but I have curly hair and sympathize with trying to find a new stylist...

I go to Marje Salon in Merrick. LOVE them. Ask for Yolanda or Cara.

Yeah I'm not thrilled with the people I have used in the past and I'm in the mood for a change.

Oh BTW NuBest is an upscale salon.

I used to go to nubest until my hairdresser decided to show up high one day ....They are stuck up there anyways EWE. I now go to Gary at Bocu and I have been happy there he also did my hair for my wedding Pics of that in album

I have curly hair also, and it's so hard to get a good hair cut. And having curly hair you can't get to much of a style done, it really just turns out to be a trim. My MOH works at FOX AND COMP. In Floral Park. She is an assistant but they have so many good stylist, Lisa is great if you show her a pic of what you want she will recreate it with no problem, Harold and Dena are great also. Tell me about it. There really is not much I have had done besides tons of layers otherwise I end up looking like Bozo the clown's wife. Victoria it is so funny you meantion Lisa from Fox & Co. She did my updo for my MOH wedding 2 years ago and got it totally right!!!!!. I was thinking of going back to her but was not sure of her cutting skills. I used to use Dina across the street but was less and less impressed so I jumped ship.

That's so funny. Lisa is still at Fox she's great cutting. No more layers for me I want it all one long length for the wedding. I have a ton of hair, but I want it really long. I love when she starts singing she has a great voice.

Ha-Ha the singing I totally forgot about that. She said she was going to counteract the pain of the push pins & began to belt out some song. I was laughing so hard I was crying! She said it was good I didn't do the makeup 1st.
