We will be having a lot of guests who are flying in for our weddings. Should I send out accommodation cards with my std for people who want to start planning..
Also, do I send something about the airports nearby??

I'm thinking about doing this...I'm definitely directing them to the web site that will have all the info but some of the 'older' people won't do that and will want the info.

Were you able to set up your hotel block yet?
I think most people just put the hotel info on the wedding website. Maybe you can just enclose the accomodation cards for the older less computer savy people?

We sent the accommodation card with out STD for all. I bought a stamp from Vista Print for super cheap and had all the info they needed for the room block. Both our names, the date to RSVP for the room block price and the actual price. We got great feed back on this. It allows the younger crowd to save up a little extra money and the chance to see who they want to room share with in advance. I would put them in all.

We did. I waited to send the STD out until we had the block set. We also put our wedding website on the STD where there was more info and a link to book their room.

half our guest list is OOT, so we also included accomodation cards with our STDs, since we already had our room block. I also put our website on the card, and put a bit about airports and train stations on the website.

The last one I got had accommodation cards but I'm not doing that. I had the info on my website if anyone really needs to know. It depends on how many people are OOT I guess and for us it's hardly anyone.

I sent my hotel information with my STD's. Just so they know where they'd be able to stay & pricing before the invites so they have plenty of time to book flights/hotel.

yep I did - I had a lot of OOT guests and the hotel was filling up fast. We actually were full by the time the invites went out so I had to set up a 2nd hotel block at another hotel for those who didn't make their reservations yet.
