When you are putting the inner envelope into the outer envelope do you put it so that when you pull it out you see the open flap or do you put it in so that when you pull it out you see the inner names? I am clueless! I am just thinking since I am not putting guest on the outer envelope, what happens if people do look at the inner envelope? HELP!

Re: sending invite question
My understanding is that you put the inner envelope in backwards so that the flap of the inner is next to the front of the outer. Make sense? I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how you do it.

Re: sending invite question
So that means when they pull it out they will see what I wrote on the inner envelope?

Re: sending invite question
I have one more invite question. When addressing the invitation to a widow, do you still say MRS ?? Like:
Mrs. Edward Smith ???
I don't really want to remind my aunt that she is a widow (still very painful for her) so I was going to say: Ms. Paula Smith but is this disrespectful??
Any help is appreciated!! thanks girls

Re: sending invite question
Well, either way you would use 'Mrs.' not 'Ms.' For FH grandmother's we did use her first name though, not his. You can use his, it is more formal and some woman want it as a show of respect. It really depends on the person. If you are unsure, I would use her name.
