Sending out an email to out of town guests... what to include?

Southwest airlines released their schedule until May so I wanted to tell my guests that they can book cheap flights now.

Was also going to tell them about the room block info again (it was in the STD) and recommend they get EZ Pass if they are driving.

Can you think of anything else an OOT guests needs to know ahead of time?

Should I mention that the ceremony doesnt start until 5pm on Saturday? Or let them find out when the invites go out in January?

I would put in info about how to get from the airport to the hotel.

I know the Hyatt has a shuttle that goes between Macarthur and the Ronkonkoma train station.

Do you have a wedding website? You could give them the url with more information about the ceremony time and things to do on LI. FM me if you want to see what I have on my site.

I would mention the time. This way people have it in mind when making their flight plans.

I sent out my STD and included I placed a business card sized accommodation info sheet w/ hotel info. No wedding time, location, etc. The web site address is helpful, so they have everything they need.

I say include the time - why not? I know if it were me, I always want to have as much info as possible so I can plan accordingly... other than that though it sounds like you have things very well covered...and i must say you are being remarkably helpful to your guests!
