Sending out invites

If my RSVP date is May 1st, when should I be sending out my invitations? April 1st? Before then?? Help!!

I would send them out a little over a month in advance...we had some problems with the invitations being returned and having to resend them...so that extra time is good. Plus there will always be people you will decide to invite at the end so it's nice to have time in there. I would send them out at least 6 weeks before your RSVP date. So if your RSVP date is May 1st, I would mail them out no later than mid-March.

i agree - early to mid march especially if you have a lot of OOT guests

I can't believe I'm at this point. Next week is my 6 month mark and 'she' is 75% done with the production of my invitations. Where is time going??

I think it's usually a month before the wedding, but I wanted more cushion time to follow up with people, so I made mine a month and a half before the wedding.

My rsvp date is 2/26 and I am sending mine out on friday

My RSVP is May 15 for my June 25 wedding.

We are sending them out in the beginning of April.

I see you on her list!!!!!!! I am at 95% and sent my final addresses last night. eeeek!!!!!!!

Do you have a B list?

If so, I'd send them towards the end of March.

We have a B list...so that's why we are sending the A list out April 1

Really???? Are you afraid that people will lose your invitation or forget to send back the rsvp card?? That's my only fear about sending early.

Our RSVP is 3/19
Wedding 4/30

So roughly 6 weeks..I don't want to stress tracking people at the end so I gave myself some extra time.

Will send them out probably 2/1 sometime
