How long after a bridal shower should thank yous go out? I dont want to wait too long and have people think Im a lazy bride to be with poor manners but the thought of sitting down to write so many of them scares the @*^! out of me!

I agree. Definitely before the wedding! Then you'll have a whole new set of thank yous!

I had my shower this Saturday!!!! and I sat down yesterday and wrote out all of my thank you cards and got them in the mail today! my wedding is too close to procrastinate and I wanted them out before I leave for Ireland. I think a month is decent amount of time, but the longer you wait, the harder it is to write them. Just start writing a couple a night! You'll be done before you know it!

1 week after my shower I got sick so I was home for the weekend and wrote them all out. By the time I got stamps and sealed them all they were out appox 2-3 weeks after the shower.
I think about a month to month and a half is good (Depending on how close the shower is to the wedding). I would def send them out before the wedding though!

My shower was 2 weekends ago and I sent out the thank you's this morning. Took forever to write them all out!

Hey Date Twin!! I think you should write them asap. Get them out of the way because our wedding day is coming up fast and furious!!
