hey all... so FH and i are trying not to spend too much on christmas this year so we were thinking of getting something sentimental or 'DIY' for our parents.. anyone have any ideas?!?!
you can always do some sort of picture collage....i did that for my mom one year and she loved it

You can make them a book at Blurb.com with family photos and stuff. Or you can make them a DVD slideshow set to music of family photos. I think there's a program that comes standard with Vista.
I've done like a photo collage for my father of pictures of us through the years with a small poem.

i did a family photo calendar on snapfish for my parents and it was a HUGE hit that i do it every year now- its even branched off to my aunts asking for one....
the first year i did all present day pics- but this year i'm doing all pics of me and my brothers when we were little- i cant wait to give it to them.

I actually came up with something pretty good. I got my Bridal Party their gifts already, but i had wanted to add a little something extra special for my two Maids of Honor (without spending too much, because at this point, I'm broke.)![]()
I ended up choosing a picture that means a lot to the three of us (it's from when we were little) and I had it put into a really unique wood carving. Not too expensive, but definitely sentimental. I know it's something they each will display for many years to come.![]()
