Hey Girls, anybody getting married in Sept 04 and have any suggestions where to go on a honeymoon. I know Sept is hurricane season which is a bummer! I am interested in a all inclusive and I am interested in Hawaii. Not to sure what islands to go to in Hawaii in Sept. Any suggestions or comments?

Re: SEPT 04 HONEYMOON - hurricane season
I am also getting married in September 04' and after speaking with a travel agent she said that Aruba would be the place to go. I haven't heard anything about Hawaii's weather during that time but it's definitely worth checking out.

I am going to Hawaii. My fiances brother goes there every year in September and never complained about the weather. We are going to Kauai for 7 days and then to Oahu for 4 days.

I am getting married Sept 04 and we are also going to Aruba for our honeymoon. With Aruba, you do not have to worry about hurricanes in Sept.

If you're going to Hawaii, I would say to go to Maui. I went to Oahu this past summer, but if I could do it again, I wish I would have gone to Maui because Oahu just felt too touristy and too cityish. Some parts felt like Fifth Avenue with the Gucci, Prada, etc. stores. Waikiki Beach was beautiful though.

Re: SEPT 04 HONEYMOON - hurricane season
Hawaii's not too bad. It was $840 per person for flight and hotel for six nights when we went in July. I booked it six months in advance on Expedia, and I checked it everyday until the price was almost $100 less than it normally was. The prices change a lot. It's not like we were at a 5-star hotel and it was for Oahu which isn't priced as high as some other islands, but still, I've seen more expensive prices for other places.

Oh boy, I must be in for a rude awakening, for we are interested in the Sandals at St. Lucia. I pray we won't suffer.

Re: SEPT 04 HONEYMOON - hurricane season
st lucia is nice, we just went on a cruise this past April and that is one of the ports we stopped at. I liked it a lot. The only thing is, we were able to see pretty much the whole island in one day, its pretty small, but once agagin, its beautiful.

Our choices are Hawaii or Aruba, Hawaii depends on our budget!!!!
