September 08 Brides

my dress is in, but not my invites i ordered them 2 months ago, i don't even want to GO THERE with frustration.

i was shocked my dress came in when it did!

HELL NO My dress isn't even in yet!

Most of the major stuff is done for me but mostly the small stuff is left.

I still have to pick out and order a flower girl dress and jr. bm dress. And my dress doesn't fit. I have to lose atleast 15 more pounds. It fit when i ordered it.

When is everyone sending out invites and when is your rsvp date?

I have my invites I can't send it out yet because I'm waiting for FH father to give me the family members list and address and my RSVP on the invites is July 19

I'm so screwed

I am the day after you, you are not screwed. Why did you make the rsvp so early? My biggest frustation is coming from 2 things-1 is the CPs. FH wants candles that no longer exist and it has cost me endless hours. He doesn't look, just nope, that is not it.... I told him yesterday to forgot it, move on, look at the candle I bought yesterday. He doesn't like it, but will settle...I told him to look himself. He said, no that is fine, we will just use them-agh.... The other is the shower. I have been arguing with my sister MOH and my mom about it all week. They think it is tacky to have it for a second wedding. FH was never married before. I was married 15 years ago. It is a disaster. Otherwise, things are moving along. BM and I are making plans to finish my favors, doing CPs tomorrow. All will get done.

What kind of flowers are you using? I need more options because peonies are not in season in September.

I'm doing roses and peonies too for my bouquet.
Yes, peonies are expensive in September but I'm splurging on my bo-k.

Ok ladies this week is the last of May and that mean we have 3 more months to go.

I still haven't book my DJ the DJ that I wanted to book we have a scheduling problem so now I have to find someone that make appointments on the weekends.

Any suggestions?

Okay girls, want to feel a whole lot better about your accomplishments?

I am getting married in September or October and haven't booked a hall, picked out a dress, colors, flowers or anything else. We did pick out our rings (figures I'd get the jewelry part taken care of right away). Of course we still need DJ/Band(/ipod?), officiant, photographer and EVERYTHING ELSE!

I found a to do list on here that has 137 things and I have done 1! But then I added one.

I am getting married in September or October and haven't booked a hall, picked out a dress, colors, flowers or anything else. We did pick out our rings (figures I'd get the jewelry part taken care of right away). Of course we still need DJ/Band(/ipod?), officiant, photographer and EVERYTHING ELSE!

My dress wont be in until July. I ordered it over 7 months ago!!!

Mine won't be in until July -August. I can't wait till it comes in though.
I want that call already!!!

I ordered my dress 2 months ago from davids and it hasn't come in yet. the date given was June 30 so i am not freaking out yet.

I still have all my little things plus we have to book flowers and limos.
i feel like i have nothing done but know that if i had to get married tomorrow i would be (somewhat) OK.

I am booking my florist on Saturday. I FINALLY booked my honeymoon lodging, but still need to:

Book Flight
Get wedding bands
Order Tuxes
Order Cake
DIY-
Programs
Card Box
Escort Cards

I'm sure there is so much more I'm forgetting right now...

I feel the same way. I still have a lot of little things to do, but at this point, I am so excited about getting married to my soul-mate, that all those little things don't matter so much. I can't wait, 106 more days to go!!!
