September 15th ladies!

Hello Date Twins!
I'm having a little anxiety right now! So much to be done and we're less than 5 months away!!!
Here's what I have left...I'm sure the list is missing so much more stuff!!
FG dresses
invitations
favors
shuttles to church and reception
BM Gifts
GM gifts
e-pics
shoes
headpiece

What do you have left to do?
Hope all of your planning is going well!

Not too bad!! I am a 'plan ahead' type of bride so I'm pretty much done with everything that's not last minute appointments. The only thing I'm concentrating on now is getting them all paid off as soon as possible.

I can make some suggestions if you want!! Only because I just recently did some of these things... Hope that helps at least. And I don't want to make you feel like you are behind b/c you are NOT-- I'm just ahead of the game!

OK... here's your list!

FG dresses Try Helen's Wedding World in Commack or Carole at Burton's in Melville (they have the best prices around!!)
invitations: OK, this depends on the type of invitation you want. I picked a Vera Wang invite b/c I fell for her style and I love her work so only certain places sold her. But, I know people who have used Posh Papers in Huntington to get up to 30% off of the most popular name brand designer invites like Checkerboard or Crane! HTH
favors: definitely wrap with us in syosset for favors!! they are cheap and have a great selection- I worked w/ them for my eparty and it was fantastic and I got a KILLER price (bought something on sale!! love coasters btw). I'm doing a donation for the wedding but if you want to do that then I suggest Laura from LA Productions- I've been referred to her!
shuttles to church and reception: Hmm, this was provided through our Hotel (we only needed a shuttle to and from hotel and reception) Our Hotel is the Hyatt Regency (Windwatch) in Hauppauge.
For regular shuttles I would suggest calling some limo vendors on here and go w/ the best price you get as long as the company is reputable.
BM Gifts: I got the girls Coach wristlets (and my sister who is the MOH a coach bag) at the outlet for a great price!!! They are bigger than standard wristlets (pics below and in my album!) and then I'm getting them antique drop earrings.. I've heard Pina is a great place to look for BM Jewelry in Patchogue. Then, I'm just going to get them comfy flip flops for the reception and then I paid into their hair and make up for each girl to make it more affordable on them
GM gifts: oooh we got a deal!! we went to things remembered and i found sterling silver cuff links on sale from 89.99 to 39.99... so i got them engraved and used a coupon for the engraving (if you sign up for the rewards member card which costs like 5 bucks you get a ton of discounts!) and then i'm going to get them each a coach leather money clip from the outlet and the BM is getting a coach wallet along with cufflinks and a keychain that's engraved from the same collection.
e-pics: well, that your photog does but i would suggest old westbury gardens or a place by the water- that's where i did mine and they are beautiful.
shoes: try MJM or DSW for the 'nina' brand- they are very comfortable and priced good.
headpiece: well, i got my headpiece from Denise Leli and so far she has been my absolute FAVE vendor-- I love her stuff... one piece is nicer than the next. Also check out my ablum for pics.

Hope that helps... not too bad when you have suggestions, right?

You'll get it all done!

Re: September 15th ladies!

Invites are next on my list...I still haven't found anything I like. I've been looking for about a month and I think I'm having them custom-made.

I have to do FG dresses, order the tuxes, finish the bm and gm gifts, seating card ideas, wedding bands, and so much more that I'm forgetting.

Where did all the time go...5 months!!!
