I wasw thinking of having my brides maids wear \ a sapphire blue dress. Is that too dark of a color for Sept? I dont want them looking like smurfs , but I hate pastel and light blues. Any suggestions ?
P.S If anyone has gone with that color dress , where from ?
I don't think so... My B-day is in September, and Sapphire is the birthstone, so to me, it would look great!!!

My B-day is Sept. 7th. I see you're getting married within a week of your B-day... Me too! We're getting married on our anniversary, and then a week later is my B-day, so we'll be on our honeymoon for my B-day, thank god, since my last few b-days have been really boring!!! LOL

i think the sapphire blue is the best choice, its classy and elegant. I think the other blues will be to kiddy if you know what I mean?
I'm getting married 10/12 and the BMs are wearing navy blue..it's very flattering to everyone!
for our Sept 14th wedding last year. The color of their gowns was called saphire - it looked navy. We used silver as an accent color.
