do you have a lot of OOTers?
we have many potential OOTers, so i was thinking of sending them out late june with an RSVP date of 8/18...don't know if that's 'too early'...

I have a good amount of out of towners, the place where I ordered my invites suggested no more than 4 weeks ahead for the rsvp date and that three to four weeks is the norm, but most people opt for 3 weeks. Hope that helps!

I feel like i am so out of the loop when it comes to the invites because my wedding is sept. 4th and i am sending out my invites early may because there are a lot of people i know from out of state. My wedding is also on a holiday weekend so i don't want people to have a hard time finding a hotel. I did not want to send out save the date cards because by the time i sent them out the invites would be right behind them and i thought that was silly. I started planning the wedding in march so time is short before the wedding. GOOD LUCK

I think of sending mine mid-june with a RSVP date of 8/1. My cut off for the hotel is 8/3 so I will need to make sure all the guest that RSVP have their reservations in place.
