Make my Menus, Programs and Favors (we're donating money)
ORDER CAKE!!!! (OMG--yes, i have to do that)
change limo times
meet with photographer

THERE HAS TO BE more... I just feel like there is SO MUCH to do

shop for HM
meet with DJ
make programs
make petal cones
buy GM gifts
buy parent gifts
buy pumpkins
buy place card paper
print place cards
roll up scrolls
pack for night of wedding
pick up wedding rings
engrave rings
get marriage license
get passport
make OOT bags
decide on limo package
buy more leaves
drop off OOT bags at hotel
drop off things at RH

I just sent this to FH yesterday....we are just 17 days away BTW, I'm not doing any DIY things, menus, programs, etc....

Here is a list of our do to's still.... Just to keep it fresh in my mind...it's more for me than you.

Finalize your seating arrangements making sure you involve both sets of parents) and submit to caterer.

Prepare placecards.

Prepare a 'reception box' for accessories such as toasting goblets, cake toppers, candles, etc., and assign someone to transport.

Give final attendance numbers to vendors and confirm final date/time for deliverables and pick-ups after the wedding.

Finalize your 'must play' and 'don't play' Music Lists and review with musicians.

Pick up your wedding rings.

Finalize ceremony readings and songs, and review with performers. (YOUR MOM KEEPS PRESSING ME FOR THIS) Please decide what you would like.

Wrap gifts for each other, your attendants, and your parents and write out Thank You's.


AGENDA FOR AUGUST 27

Appt. with DJ/Photo/Video (Give music selections, confirm times, pay balances)

Appt. with Villa Lombardi's (Give Placecards, reception box, pay balances, seating arrangements)

Appt. with Florist (Confirm delivery times, locations, and pay balance

Apply for Marriage License


After all this (8/27) we should be done . Then I can start getting my own things ready and together for the day of (dress, shoes, games for staying at hotel the night before)...etc. And for the honeymoon!

I feel the same way..I have a to-do list but for some reason, it sure seems like, something is always missing from this list...

1) Garter belt
2)toasting flutes
3) Unity candles (if doing it)
4) place cards and guest list
5) choose your music
6) marriage license

don't remember what else...

ok here goes!!! I'll probably forget something!

-Put together all the favors
-Burn CD's for favors (awaiting receipt of CD's from the vendor who's doing the artwork)
-Print and put together programs & petal cones
-Figure out seating, and order placecards
-Get mom some shoes!
-Figure out the GM gift situation (I left this up to FH, and of course now I'll have to deal with it)
-Get marriage license
-Get my house in order for the 5 OOT guests staying at my house
-Meet with baker on Sunday to pick cake
-Meet with DJ next week to finalize song choices and give montage pics
-Go see Flower Michelle sample CP
-Make final appt. with Duet- need to pick 'must take' pics
-Meet with DOC to go over all the details

Good lord I hope that's it!!

ETA- forgot the DIY I started- creating my 'cakebox' wedding cardholder

hmmm...my big taski s to finalize the place card..ugh I can't stand the politics

call my vendor to confirm the shipment of my program/menu card (I'm not a DIY kind of person - terrible)

im not using tent style placecards. mine will be pinned to pumpkins. Im getting cardstock and printing on them a leaf shape with the name and table number in them. then i got a sisscor that cuts certain shapes and will cut them out.

drop off OOT boxes to the hotel

get the girl's totes embroidered once they arrive (any day now)

all the gifts are wrapped and done- just need to give them to everyone at the RD

confirm vendors, times (well, my DOC does that but i'm anal so i probably will too )

that's it- everything else is done. i mean, aside from packing for the HM but i can do most of that after the wedding b/c we are not leaving until two days later.



ETA: my final fitting is tomorrow-- i need to pick up my veil from denise and then that's all taken care of. also, seating got done last night- so i just need to send it to the company that makes the board and fwd that to FF and i'm done.

Sometimes when I think of the list I think ok things are going good, other times I feel like it is complete chaos. Anywayz here it goes....

Attend final fitting (tomorrow)
Finish DIY's (Do programs, etc)
So seating chart
Pick up wedding bands (Tomorrow)
Final meeting with vendors (prepare must play lists, must take lists, etc)
Finish table numbers.
Do Placecards
Have BM luncheon
Find an apartment
Mom's final fitting
Get gifts for readers and ushers
Get parent gifts
Prepare wedding timelines and email to GM and BM/ print out
Get FH gift
Pack and shop for honeymoon (which is gonna be kinda hard since it is a surprise)

um...I know there's more I just cant think of it

Oh yeah and in the midst of all of this I have to take a board exam on 8/30!

Finalize our wedding ceremony with Father Joe
Give Final Guest Count to Stephen for ceremony/reception
Continue to work on Place Cards. Geez those RSVP's.
Bring the Bronze Pumpkins and candles to the florist so they can work on the centerpieces.
Work on the men's and childrens lindt chocolate truffles in the autumn boxes.
And Organize Organize Organize

i'm soooo close to being done and will be after my LAST trip home before the wedding, which is this weekend!!

-send seating chart to hall (fri)

-put together box for mom to bring to hall sept 4 (this weekend)
-pack for HM (bringing stuff to NY with me this weekend)
-2nd fitting (this weekend)
-dye shoes! (next week)
-marriage license (Sept 6 - when we arrive in NY for the wedding)
- fill OOT boxes (this weekend)

so yeah, i think that's it!! easily doable in 17 days!!
