September HM - Aruba or Hawaii??

I've been to Aruba once but I've never been to Hawaii. My FI hasn't been to either. We can't decide. Anyone have advice??

Whats your budget? You can do either or. My friends just came back from their honeymoon in Aruba and they also had a Sep. wedding also.

i am getting married in Sept. too, I think we are going to Hawaii, b/c it hurricane season in the Caribbean so, you can wait to go or go to Hawaii.

Considering Aruba is outside of the hurricane belt, you don't have to worry about that...You have to base your decision on budget & time away though. If you only plan on doing a week, Hawaii is too far for only 1 week...

Depends on your budget & the time you have. No worries about hurricaines at all.. Aruba is below the hurricaine belt. You need two weeks for Hawaii.

if you have the time/budget, I'd go w/ Hawaii...Aruba is out of the hurrican belt, so you don't have to worry about bad weather....

we went to Hawaii and it was the best decision we made!!!! but give yourself at least 10-14 days... we stayed only on the Big Island and explored it for a week but we plan to go back next year to see other islands...

If you have the $$$$ I would do Hawaii - just because your HM might be your 1 chance to go there (where as Aruba is much closer and easier for a standard vacay)

I was between Hawaii and Aruba, but are final decision was Hawaii. It will cost a lot more but, It is worth it. Aruba is very easy to get to, and cheaper. Hawaii is not one of those places people get to go to often, so why not make your honeymoon special.

Either way you will have a wonderful time, both places are great.

I actually got a good deal with Hawaii. If you need a good travel agent, call Dawn from cruise one. She is a vendor on here and her number is in the travel section in vendors. I think it says vacation specialist.
Ask about staying at the Hyatts, you can get a good deal that includes a lot.

We chose Hawaii because we know that it would be a long time before we could ever afford or have the opportunity to go in the future. We plan on trying to start a family in the spring or summer. The last thing I'd want to do is travel with small children on a airplane trip half way across the world.
