SeptemberBride03

hi.
Port Jeff was great to deal with. One ting is, they pushed for an outdoor cocktail, but we didn't want it b/c in September it gets chilly and dark earlier. I wanted upstairs. They ultimately did it, but were a little pushy. Onje reason I wanted upstairs was b/c I didn't want people walking thru the room before the reception started. Just me...I'm not saying its right or wrong.

We added oysters to our cocktail and I am so happy we did. they were a hit!!

We chose filet mignon, tilapia w/crabmeat(total hit!!!) and chicken madeira. I don't think anyone ate it thoug. They tried to tell me I should get chateau briand instead b/c filet is difficult to judge if med rare etc, but I disagreed and went with filet...and glad I did. People said it melted in their mouths. And for those who say that FH won't eat...mine did!!!

feel free to ask any other questions.....

i chose creat-a cake and it was DELICIOUS
