For all the September/October brides - where are you going on your honeymoon? I need suggestions, since it's hurrican season - I know most of the carribean is out (except Aruba) and Hawaii is out for other reasons. Any ideas?? Where are you going?

I am going on a cruise to the southern Caribbean. Cruises are good cause if there is a hurricane they will redirect and do somewhere else

We are getting married 09/01/07 and we will go to Las Vegas for 3 nights after our wedding and a 6 day cruise of the Bahamas in November.
My FH is from New Orleans, and based on what the hurricane did to his families homes and lives, he refuses to be on a boat or island during hurricane season.
It's okay with me because I love Vegas, and I still get my romantic vacation 2 months later.

I'm going to hawaii as well. We plan on stopping in San Fran for a couple of days too. We'll see what happens.

Same here! Initially we were going to do something small the week after the wedding and do Costa Rica in December, but after talking to a friend about Italy we are so excited!!!

My travel agent said the only places to go during that time of the year that are out of the hurricane circle is Aruba and Barbados.
I still didn't want to take a chance so that is why we are going to Hawaii.

We are going to Sandals Grande - St Lucia. We chose this island because it is further south and east and usually is not affected by Hurricanes - Also Sandals provides Hurricane Guarantee coverage.

We are going to Disney in Florida for a week, and then to a beach for a week. There is the least amount of rainfall in Florida in Oct., and the tep highs are around 89, the lows around 66. That's what I read anyway
