OK I absolutely love LIW...and I'm hoping someone can help me out here so I can love it even more!!
So my church in Roslyn doesn't offer a precana....they gave us a sheet of where other one's are..and of course...all the one's that we can attend, are closed.
FH is an EMT so his schedule is hard to work around. I've called NHP church and a few other local ones....none work with our schedule!!!
We really need a weekend type session!! Or even 3 nights or something...once it gets to 6 it is so unlikely we can make them all with FH's schedule.
Also we are in Nassau. Can anyone recommend their pre cana or church??? Our wedding is in July so we need ample time beforehand.

Will they let you do it with diocese of Brooklyn?
Mine was so easy! We went to Douglaston for 7-9 on Friday night and like 9-4 on Saturday and we were DONE

Try Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa. That is where we are going. They are very accommodating.

www.drvc.org I think thats the website. It's for the Diocese of RVC....they have a list of weekend ones that will probably work for you.

Call Rockville Centre diocese-
They have a one day one I think thats like 6 or 8 hrs on a weekend

So expensive I am taking mine @ St Rosalie in hampton bays its from 10-3 with an hour for lunch on a saturday In march and its only $75 It might be worth a trip

i have a CRAZY schedule as I work all different days/hours so i'm hoping this will accomidate us.
It starts friday, so call this week :)

I didnt know the Diocese is that expensive. Im not doing it through them...im doing it through my church. You should call Our Lady of Lourdes in Malverne.....its only $100 but it is a 5 week program so it might not be good for your FH.

We're doing ours through St. Agnes. Starts on Feb 13 and it's every Sunday at 6 until April. HTH! Through St. Agnes (in rvc) it's only $75. FM if you want more info.

its full. I actually just called bc im having issues with this also we were suppose to be starting tomorrow in floral park but I must have mixed up the days bc FH doesnt have off

We went to Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa. Its one full day, on a saturday. Like 8am - 5.

Our pre-cana was in Suffolk at St. Patrick's Church. It was two Saturdays and we were done. My FH and I really enjoyed it because it was laid back and the leaders made you feel comfortable.

St,Rose of Lima will take outside parishiners to their pre cana we had a couple from another chruch in our group. And all the pre cana couples are awesome.

I don't think the diocesan one is that expensive.
The Engaged Encounter is that much and its a Friday to Sunday weekend AWAY. This is a nation-wide offered marriage prep program. The other diocesan ones are weeknight or Saturday/Sunday sessions...But I'm in the Brooklyn Diocese, not Rockville Centre so I'm sure someone else can elaborate...
