I am on the search for that myself. I find that the ones that don't chip tend to peel. And a lot of them dissolve in isopropyl alcohol, which I used often at work.

I just bought one I *think* it is from Maybelline (or a similiar common brand) and it is called '5 day polish'. It is true - I put it on Monday nite and it didn't chip til the following weekend!

OPI is awesome and well worth the $7.50 a bottle!

I agree. I notice a def. difference when I get my nails done if I pick an OPI polish over an Essie.

I am in agreement. OPI is the best. Always lasts a full week with no chips! You can buy at Ulta or Saks.

Re: seriously in need

My french manicures last for at least a week and a half before they chip. Here's my secret:

Sally Hanson makes this stuff called 'No more peeling'. It looks like clear pink nailpolish, but It goes on clear. Use it as a base AND top coat. I usually do 2 coats of top coat.

PLUS! (and here's the important part), make sure that you put a little UNDER the tip of your nail- like right on the edge. It makes them strong and seals the polish. This part is the most important.

Trust me, it works.

Re: seriously in need

I have a couple of Maybelline nail polishes that are great. It looks like I just got my nails done after 2 weeks. I type a lot at work and this is the only nail polish that I have tried that doesn't wear off, even after a couple of weeks!

If you put on a clear coat of polish over your manicure everyday it will last almost two weeks!! This is what I do!!

Re: seriously in need

Mine never chip but they do wear off after a week at the tips (typing). I know she uses only Essie or OPI polish but I'll see what base and top coats she uses. Oh and she has a UV dryer maybe that helps.
