seriously W T F? -vent

1 of my BM's a good friend of mine- knew of this wedding when we got engaged- so ovi u know you're going to spend $ for a dress.............

yes, she's had family issues etc- but

you going to tell me you don't have $280 buks for a cheesy F&*%$ dress? i told her its one thing for you to come to my wedding and another to be a part of my wedding...that if she needs help don't hesitate to just be honest-

so i call the dress place- and she's the only 1 who hasn't placed her order- they said they can rush it- but now- EW- i can careless if she replies NO to her RSVP-(ps last month she said she would leave deposits, made a follow up call)

im nice all smiles until my Effin horns come out- it's not everyday your FRIEND gets married-so suk it up and play the role @#ITCH i would of totally went an xtra mile if i was in your shoes- anyhoot... im done- i hate negative bitter people-she did me a favor , so typing this and letting it out i feel better..
ok carry on ..

but fo'real what would u all think?

I had a BM do something similar to me. Guess what I paid for the alterations, had to pick up her dress, then she comes late to the hairsalon the day of the wedding and on top of it says she dont have the money for the hair!! I basically paid to have her there. Oh and her @sshole boyfriend backed out the day of and she left before dinner and not even a card!!!!

Total cost of a waste of a bridesmaid:
$400.00

i gave her the small talk about helping out 2 mths ago saying go leave deposit and i will put 1/2- this time when she calls me back ima just say i understand and it's seriously ok if you can't be a part of the wedding... Who cares-

she later will say i should of been a part...whatevs- she makes it seem like she only has bills and issues and has a job and is SO BUSY and the rest of us tweedle our thumbs for a living...EFF that!

:D

Re: seriously W T F? -vent

Most people know what is involved when accepting to be in a bridal party. Why is it so difficult for people to politely decline if they do not want to be bothered or just can not afford it?! These are probably the same people who would want/did want everything 'just so' for their wedding. I just don't get it...

yeah, she didnt even participate in anything! She wasnt at the engagement party, bridal shower, or bach party, she always had an excuse. And i am the type of person who forgives and forgives. I would of had no problem paying for her, because she is like family to me. But when she was going to sneak out and not tell me I lost it. I started crying and my MOH told me to just forget it, and I went on with the day. She still hasnt called to apologize?? I wrote her an email.. no answer.. I hate when people dont call you back or answer the emails..

I think its really nice that you were willing to help your bm with the dress- but maybe she was embarassed to take it? Either way, she shouldn't be acting like that- sorry this happened to you

I'm having the same problems with two of mine. I just posted a vent. They are telling me they can't get out of work before 7PM the night of the Bach. party which is all the way in AC. They can't get out before 7 the night before the wedding which is a 90+min ride to LI. They don't have money for anything, etc.

I'm right there with you. I wish people were honest from the start and then you could move on to someone else or just only have a few girls.

Looking back now, I wish I only picked a MOH.

i have no tolerance for this crap.. its not like people get married in 2 months... you have at least a YEAR to save up..

put 10 bucks aside a week.. for a year and you will have 520 dollars.. its called saving for important things!

I had to personally take one of my BMs to look for her dress... I told my BMs they can wear whatever style of dress they want. She ordered it and when it came in she NEVER went to look at it. I had to have my MOH make her go... strange.

I would personally tell your BM to be a guest, why are you going to help rush a dress for someone who doesnt care.
