WOW, almost getting hit by a car in the morning definitely wakes you up. I was running across the street to the train and see a car far away but they have a stop sign so I keep going. Except this a** decides to speed up and pause for a split second and still decided to drive eventhough I was in the middle of the street walking. I was about 1/2 an inch away from the car - it was seriously right in front of my face. Thank goodness I hesitated and stopped, otherwise I wouldn't be talking to u right now. I just stood there in shock in the middle of the street. If I was able to make out this a**hole's license plate number, I would call the police. Wow, sorry this is so long, just can't believe ppl.

Ugh! People are so self-absorbed sometimes. He/she was probably distracted with something they shouldn't be doing while driving.
Glad you trusted your instincts and kept yourself safe...you just can't count on people to do the right thing.

Stop signs are NOT suggestions. I live by a fork in the road and there are 3 stop signs. People take them at suggestions and it gets me so mad. Glad you're ok!

omg thats so scary!!! i almost got hit by a cab once..like probably centimeters away from getting hit...and it was the scariest feeling. Good thing your okay!!

Trust me, I really wanted to, but he just went by so fast, I didn't get a chance. I was too shocked to do anything. Hope he gets 4 flat tires.
