Thank you so much, I feel so much better now that I have read your review. I am also having my ceremony at JT and we are in the oak room. Did you have to do pre-cana to have the catholic priest? Our BM is Anthony and he suggested Father Brennan also, but we didnt know about the pre-cana thing. Did they suggest you make the time on your invite a half hour before the actual time so they could have your guests ready. did they run you thru the ceremony before, like a rehearsal or just send you down the aisle? I feel bad bothering you for all this info but i have been wondering about all this.

Re: Service at Jericho Terrace
We didn't go through pre-cana but my husband and I are both catholic. I liked Father Brennan but my husband said he had such a deep voice that he couldn't quite hear / understand him. So my husband actually messed up his vows!! Hehehe. It was really cute. Father Brennan is easy to work with and very helpful.
We made the time on the invite 15 minutes earlier than the ceremony. We had a few people who missed the ceremony because they were stuck in traffic, but frankly I think that is their problem. I don't mind putting 15 minutes early, but 30 minutes is a long time for people to sit around and wait, especially if you have guests who arrive EARLIER, just to make sure they are on time. I wouldn't do that to my guests.
We didn't have a rehearsal or run through. I typed up all of the details of the ceremony and gave it to my vendors and attendants. I told the everyone what they needed to do and they did it. I think if you are having a complicated ceremony then I would consider a rehearsal. But our ceremony was standard and we didn't need a rehearsal. Feel free to FM me with more questions!!

We were in the Oak Room and had no problems whatsoever with the service. (Anthony was also our BM!)

Re: Service at Jericho Terrace
Our list was 136 and we ended up with about 75 people. But the room holds up to 144. We had about 3 or 4 waiters. We had 1 bartender and he still managed to remember names, drinks and handle the room.

i had great service at JT. we had the skylight room for our reception and everything was amazing! i was a bit po'd because they got the desserts i requested wrong but no one noticed but me so i didnt make a big deal out of it. all in all on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) i give JT an 8.5!
