Setting up appointments with potential photographers

HI

I'd like to set up three appt's this weekend with potential photographers. In order to set up a schedule this Saturday, I'm wondering how much time you guys spent at each appt?
THX!

My first appt. with my photographer was an hour and a half, but I ask a lot of questions. I think that an hour would be good

Hi - we are also having our reception at the Carlyle! We spent at least 1 hour - sometimes closer to 2 - with each photographer we met. I actually have a spreadsheet on the photographers we met with that I can send you if you FM me your email. But if you're about to make appts for Saturday, you probably already know who you want to meet.

more time than I though...1-2 hours is a good time frame...

also try to get more info on the phone...like are they available...average package cost, etc...

i think we spent a little over an hour at our last photographer(but thats cause we spent time bargaining and writing up the contract). the first few i went to I only spent a half hour... but id say to budget 1-2 hours for each its great when you can see them the same day cause then one of them should stick out in your head

We spend on average 1-2 hours ewith each photographer - looking at pics, then albums, then proofs, etc. etc. Plus all the questions with pricing and packages are time consuming

I spent about an hour, I think that is the average time.

My first appt. was about an hour. When we went back to book them we were there for about a half hour.

Our first appointments with photographers were about an hour and then the more we learned about what we liked and wanted our appointments got longer. I would plan them to be at least an hour and a half to not feel rushed.

I ask a ton of questions, so I think they tried to schedule us for 1/2 hr - 45 minutes, but it always ended up being over 1 hour.
