ok ladies and gentlemen. on another post we strated talking about setting our single friends/families up...or at least trying to!
lets use this thread to describe our loved ones who we are seeking quality people for.
ill start.
my sister would kill me, but if it all works out, who cares?!
she is turning 30 next week. she lives in manhattan and is in administration for a record label (she cannot get you a record deal!) shes smart, beautiful, independent...into music (more on the rock side) and not so much into sports! shes not inteested in games and going to games..shed rather go to see a band play or hang in central park.
i also have a friend who happens to be moving to the albany area. ) : she is also beautiful and smart, athletic and totally crazy and out going. ( :

Well Rob knows i'm doing this. I asked him at lunchtime. About him:
He is 36 years old. He has black hair, dark eyes, and he is tall and thin. Some people have told him he looks like Antonio Banderas. He is good looking. He works for the same company that I work for except he works as a client service rep. He has a good personality and a good sense of humor.

What a great thread idea!
I'd love to find a special someone for....(drum roll, please)....my Mom!
She is one of the most loving, giving, caring people I know. She loves nature, cooking, dancing, children, and animals (to name a few). She is a beautiful, intelligent woman, approaching her mid-50's, but looks a lot younger. She is a kid at heart, with a laugh and smile that can light up a room. I could go on and on, but I'll stop there for now.

This is great!! I am trying to find someone for my brother and as his big sis, I have to approve her as she might possibly be my FSIL!! Here goes!!
My Little Bro

My little bro is a sweetheart!! He is really into health/physical fitness. He goes to the gym every day. He is a Yankee Fan and Islander Fan. He loves to travel. He has been to Spain, France, England(I am so jealous, My parents like him better), Dominican Republic. He loves going camping. He likes going to bars and having a good time. Um, what else, He doesn't do drugs. He has a queen size bed. He has a wonderful sister (me ). He had another brother, but sadly he passed away. He was very close with him. He likes playing video games, but not all that much. He likes playing hockey. He actually just finished up a season of playing on a roller hockey league. He is getting better at cooking. His favorite foods would probably have to be, steak, chicken cutlets, and chocolate chip cookies. He is Italian and Half Polish(but he for some reason doesn't like telling people he is Polish, Shhh!! ). Well, I guess thats about all I know or can remember right now. Boy will he kill me for this. But if something works out, I'll be OK!!
Final Thought-- He's a GREAT CATCH!!!
Here are two pics. The first one is him and my dad and the second is me and him last month at my stepmothers retirement party. I will try and find some of him alone!! Oh and I am posting with his permission!! I told him all about my personal add for him!!

This is for one of my bridesmaids. Marylyn is 23. She lives in Jersey and is a legal secretary (just like me – she actually sits in the cube next to me) in Manhattan. She is beautiful, smart, has a great smile. She enjoys sports basketball, hockey and baseball. She is 5’5 with dark long black hair with a very sexy body. She is Philippine and speaks it too. Loves the movies, going out for a drink on the town. She has a great personality. FM if you know of anyone that will be a great match!

OK...here's the dish on my best friend!!
She's 31, about 5'5', long blonde curly hair and green eyes. Very pretty. She has a 2 year old daughter who is just the cutest and she is in the process of a divorce.
She has a great head on her shoulders, is very family oriented, has a great job, loves playing golf, going to Jets games and just having fun.
I can honestly say, even if she wasn't my best friend since kindergarten ( ) that she is a catch.

Ohh I have a friend to set up
He is 23, lives in Brooklyn, currently attending college with a major in education. Loves the mets, football and hockey. Very sweet guy, family orientated, likes to have fun though. He has a decent build weighs about 150 and is probably 5'8-5'10

Ok, I would like to add my sisters to this.
They don't know I'm doing this
My one sister, Eva (age 30) has a boyfriend already, but he is such a loser and she knows it, she won't admit it to me since I am always in her face about it, I hear about it from our cousins.
My other sister Elizabeth (age 29) is single at the moment.
Here are two pictures of them as my maid of honors at my wedding.
Elizabeth is the taller one and Eva is the shorter one.

Okay, my SIL has no idea I'm doing this.
She's 30 years old, originally from Wantagh, but now lives in Locust Valley. She's a music teacher with a BA in opera performance from SUNY Purchase and an MS in education from Hofstra. She has an amazing voice! She performs in community theatre. She's very sweet and giving. Lookswise, she's about 5'4', and only like 105 lbs. Dark brown, almost black hair, blue eyes. She's a lot of fun! She doesn't like to date guys too much younger, and the guy has to be Jewish. And she'll probably kill me for doing this!!!
