Soo I was just thinking about this. Who do you have set up the Church for the Ceremony? Obviously the bride and family are going to be preparing to get there, do you have to hire a DOC for this? I was looking at decor for the pews of the Church and my mom was like well who is going to be there to set it up? And I said, uhh thats a good question! Now I'm confused. Anyone have this issue??
I was thinking the same thing! Ordinarily, most people said their florists did the decorations with bows on the pews... I am planning on making my own pew decorations so I was going to ask my aunt to take them to the church. If she can't then I will entrust the help of our groomsmen's fiancé!
Exactly! We are making our own too. I was thinking bows out of lace and I am thinking about doing something with pearls and crystals. Like gluing them to a ball and hanging it but before I made all these things I need to figure out someone I trust to send there and do it to my standards haha thats tall order
Having the florist do it...but if I didn't ...I am sure you could have a few family members help out/groomsmen :)
anything that you contract out to the florist they will obvi set up but any decor that you are making/buying yourself you will need to get someone to set it up. As suggested an Aunt or cousin or friend etc.
Maybe call your church and ask if they have someone to set it up?
Ask your florist nicely... I'm hanging small lanterns from the pews and my florist told me that as long as I give them to him ready to go, he'll gladly set that up for me.

I wanted to get a DOC but DH didn't want to spend the money so we spoke to our priest, got the set up time and had 2 of our good friends set up the church for us.
I wrote up instructions (even added in a diagram) and everything was set up perfectly.
