well DBR worked completely in my budget - i remember something about a set up fee but i thought it was $50? i will check when i get home!

well let me go home and check my contract but i think i would remember a large fee like that
they really went out of their way to work within my budget so i think i would have remembered it
was she getting anything special? i am just getting the church and the hall . . . and of course hte 'personal' flowers brought to my house. . .

I think she has them to pick up the rental vases after the wedding. That's about it.

Where was the wedding taking place?
I used them and they were by far my favorite vendor. I know that Rose, her mom Doris, her Father, and a helper are the only people that usually set up. They told me about a hard time they had setting up for the Rainbow room - as they had to pay $$$ for parking the vans, after unloading so they could set up.....

I met with them tonight. They are very down to earth and the price is VERY reasonable... unless I read something from someone who had a really bad experience with them.. I'm booking them... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GIVING THEM AT LEAST A ONCE OVER.

Also - my house and church are within 5 blocks of them so that may have something to do with it!

Maybe your friend should go back and ask them. They may be different reasons some people get certain pricing. All of our personals are being delivered to my house and when my brother goes to FH's he will be bringing all the bouts and the corsage for FMIL. You never know what the reason could be for being charged for specific items or services. I think DBR was better than fair with their pricing. And honestly even if they were more expensive I still would have booked with them. Their service is so personalized, they aren't pushy at all. They were all I was looking for!

Hi - I am using them too. My wedding is at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden as well.
They said they have set up there before and are familiar with the place.
I have a pretty basic set up with them. What kind of flowers are you choosing?
I really like them...and would recommend them. This weekend I am going to see my sample centerpiece.

They did a great job!
No regrets!
I wanted the NYC floral design look /style but did not have the budget to afford them (they were quoting me up to 8K for 4 BM, 4 GM, 12 low CP, my bouquet and 1 extra bout.., 3 corsages).

I'll see them next week to discuss my everchanging mind re: flowers.
Anyway, we're having a chuppah and therefore, they would have to set up and take down (and wait through the ceremony). So, they may have charged a setting up fee. Dont remember.
