SEVEN EFFING HOURS?!

Ugh, this stupid circus of a wedding just gets better and better. As if I didn't absolutely LOATHE this couple enough, their stupid wedding this Friday night is going to be 7 effing hours long!!! Am I the only one who thinks that is ridiculous?! CH starts at 6 PM and the reception ends at 1 AM, possibly 1:30 AM. Eff that, I might skip out early by my damn self, I got better things to do than hang out with them. Ugh I'm so annoyed.

Haha AGREED! I can't stand these people!!! And it's going to be a circus- I'm talking 450 people that they barely know (this is not a slight on anyone having a large wedding, I just know that for this particular couple it's a big show, a competition). These are the people who I told we were going to book our wedding for May 1st (our 5 year anniversary) and then went out THE NEXT DAY and booked their wedding for April 23rd, even though they had *just* gotten engaged. I told FH they don't have to come to ours if I don't have to go to theirs, but he didn't seem so keen on the idea.

At least I'm not the only one who thinks this is nuts! I feel a little better knowing I'm not alone!

i think it depends the people. and when you do the math to come up w 7 hours it sounds like a lot...but if you are enjoying yourself, its ok

i told my co-workers how long my reception was, and i know they looked exhausted just hearing about it (cuz its more of an obligation why they are coming)
