Old Wives Tales

I read that according to recent studies, older moms have a higher chance of having a boy.

I dont have an old wives tale, per se but I did have something odd happen while I was PG. A guy I worked with had a Magic 8 ball on his desk and one day I asked it specifically if I was having a boy and it said 'It is decidely so' (or one of those other goofy 'yes' replies) then I asked it if I was having a girl, figuring if it said yes also, it was BS. (LOL not that I had faith in it anyway) but this M8 ball tells me No to the girl question. I went into this guy's office about 5 more days in a row and every single time I asked just those 2 questions, it always said yes for boy no for girl. I kid you not. It got weird. LOL the word spread in my department and other people started coming in and asking this ball questions about their lives too.

And I did have a boy so if you have access to a magic 8 ball.....

Tracy, I had the opposite happen to me! I was thin everywhere, but had a 'beach ball' in my tummy and I had a girl! So I guess it's different for everyone.
