I have seen some lovely shadow boxes in some bridal shower albums. I am not really crafty but can anyone out there explain how I make one & what materials I would need? It looks like you start with your invitations but is it the shower or the wedding invitations?

michales has some nice ones... they are a little pricey though make sure you get a big enough one you don't want all your keepsakes smoshed together.
I would figure out somewhat of a layout of the things together first then find a shadow box that fits that
make sure you grab a coupon from the paper before you go in to save a bit of $.

wow i never thought about this idea before until you mentioned it. it sounds really nice though and i'm sure all it takes to pull it off is just some memorable things from your wedding. (invite, garter, dried bo-k, personalized hankie, etc)

That's what I was thinking!! I 'm working on a photo scrapbook but then I thought putting fun stuff around the wedding invitation as I have seen.
If anyone has any pictures, please post.

you can lay it out like a scap book page, you can use your invite, gater, hankie if you used one or a string of pearls. scapbooking sections have alot of cut outs, or fancy stickers that you use. Good luck. have fun!!!!!

What kind fo shadow box do you want to make? They are really simple usually. Mine was a big PITA because I wanted to use flowers and real moss and it didnt lay right. But usually you can do them very easily.

The one I wanted to make are the ones I saw on this website in some bridal shower albums. Since I am not that familiar w/them, I can't really describe them.

Yes someone please do! I plan on purchasing one to put my cake topper in and other keepsakes. I have no clue what a finished shadowbox looks like and would love to see some!

I think you either use tacky glue, peel and stick, or simply scotch tape. Like I said earlier, I am not crafty when it comes to this but I would like to try it.
