Shania Twain 'From this moment'

I LOVE that song for a first dance but do you think a lot of bride/grooms choose that for their first dance song? I can't find another song I love just as much as that song but at the same time I don't want to be like everybody else...HELP...I don't know what to do

I love that song too, I did not use because I heard it at so many weddings but if you love it who cares

If you love it and it's meaningful to you and your fi, I say go for it! It's a very emotional song and a perfect choice for a first dance. If you're still unconvinced, listen to other songs...you have a little bit to go, if nothing else feels right, use the one you love - as long as you love it, who cares what others think?

I am using this song. i initially felt the same way, it seemed so 'typical', but it was the ONLY song that fit us, perfectly. I have no choice, its just so right! I say who cares what other people think, this is for you and FH and you beginning your life together 'from this moment'.

Exactly, I feel the same way. I just don't want to be like everyone else but you are all right if the song fits us we should just go for it. The song is SO perfect for us, I can't find another song like it that fits us any better.

well if you dont use it for your first song you could always have your videographer put it into the video..that would be cool..this way since you love it..it would be in a lasting memory.

I love this song .....i'm a country gal at heart. FH doesnt really care for anything with a 'twang'. I spent 2 months going back and forth with first dance songs with FH and we happened to hit upon one. A song I don't think anyone has used here....Could I have this kiss forever; Enrique and Whitney. Now everytime I listen to it I know it's the one I was SUPPOSED to have. If you don't want to be common and like everyone else, there are millions of other songs out there.

But I say to heck with everybody else. If it speaks to you go for it.

Hey,

That Shania Twain song is going to be our second song that we dance to.....but for this song we are going to have the DJ invite the bridal party onto the dance floor with us.

I think its a beautiful song and is perfect for a wedding song. We are using 'when you kiss me' by Shania Twain.

i think that is a great song. i am sure a lot of people at your wedding wont be thinking 'oh everyone uses that song'
you have to choose what will make u happy, and that is a great choice.

Great song! I love it and we would be considering it if it wasn't the best man's wedding song from his first marriage! He will be married for the second time before our wedding....
