Share your invitation wording!

...if you want I am working on this now and could use some ideas. I don't want it to be too formal, but nothing that would make it sound like a birthday party! Technically, all parts of the fam are chipping in but my parents are paying for most of it...that means their names should be in the invite, right? This is a tough one...please help!

Well, here is my concern - FH's parents are divorced, the father is remarried, mom is not. To include their names would be tricky...but I also don't want anyone's feelings to be hurt.

Im glad this post came up i was just about to ask an invitation question!

When you are putting the location on the bottom of the invitation do you put

Name of RH
street address
City,State

or just

Name of RH
City, State

that is alittle tricky. Maybe you can try
mr & mrs __ (your parents)
together with
mrs. __ (FHs mom)
and
mr & mrs. __ (fh dad/step mom)
request the honor ..etc
