I just want to make sure I am not too far off here:
Wedding date: April 18th
Response date: March 7th
I guess I mail invites Feb 7th?
Am I right?

Sending out approx - Jan 2nd
Response date - Feb, 22nd
Wedding date March 22nd

sounds about right to me

I'm mailing my invites in early June.. Wedding is in August.. but the hall wants the full balance paid 3 weeks before the wed date.. sooooo, the response date is July 6...I'm not playing games with the slackers, so that allows me ample time to harass people...

Ours was:

7/15 mail date
8/19 RSVP Date
9/21 Wedding Date

Looks good to me ours is

Wedding date: ApMay 17th
Response date: April 21st
mail invites March 15th

Christy, that sounds perfect!
We mailed ours June 24th
Reponse date, July 20th
Wedding date Aug 24th

The one thing I can say is you need all the time you can get between the reponse date and the date you have to have you count in.

Thanks for all of your help. I ran into a girl today whose wedding is march 29th, she isnt mailing hers our until mid feb, and her response date is like march 15th. So I thought I was WAY OFF!

RSVP Date: Feb 14th
Wedding date: March 29

I am also getting married March 29 but I wanted to get my responses back by the end of feb so when I went to Milleridge I had a solid head count.

I'm probably cutting it close, but I mailed out my invites last week (Dec 19th) for a Jan 13th RSVP for a Jan 31st wedding

You seem just fine, I do however think your friend is cutting it a little close

I am sending mine out a little earlier, to leave myself enough time to make follow-up phone calls when guests do not respond (FSIL had to call so many people):

Mailing date: January 11th
Response date: February 14th
Wedding date: March 29th
