Hey Girls.. I thought it might be fun to share ideas for what to do with the table #s. I was thinking of doing pictures of me and FH from our engagement but I'm not sure Maybe we can inspire each other to be more creative?!

i am doing a two sided frame, a pic of FH and i on one side and the table number on the other. i am going to use our engagement pics.

I want to name the tables after different waterfront communities. Not sure what they will look like yet though.

i am thinking about doing parts of NYC and metro area like upper east side, greenwhich villlage, tribeca
or
baby pictures
or collages of people at that table

I have a few ideas....... Might be using my dogs pics E-pics, when we get them done funny pics of FH and I or just saw something where the bride used pics from when they were 1 for table 1, age 2 pics for 2 and so on.

i used epics...(in my album under wedding stuff) but you can also do your ages...talbe 1 us both of yo at age 1 or years
table 1980 is both of you in 1980
or yuo can use places you've been...table italy, table ireland...table puerto Rico...or something like that...

I am doing baby pictures coorosponding our ages to the table number... ages 1 -20... only IF FMIL finds pics of him. LOL

Since we are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and I am a surfer....we may use a combination of hawaiian islands and popular surf breaks in Hawaii.

I think i'm going to do board games. FH and play board games all the time and with our families. So i'm thinking of doing each table as a game. not sure of pics yet.

i def want to do years!!! we went to catholic elementary school together-i think it would be awesome to use all those old pictures!!!

I think that we are doing this:
When we tooko our epics we went all over the city to different locations. The point was to use a different location for each table, with kind of an unspoken understanding that table 4, for example is the times square table, bc that is where we are in the picture. Then on the back of the table number I may have a different love poem like fromo SATC the movie... I know that that 'Love poems from Great Men' book does not exist, but I am sure that I can do some research and find something equally as romantic.
I should explain... FH and I LOVE the city... everything that it has to offer and we hope to one day live there. So for us, it has a strong meaning. I LOVE SATC and we blended the way the movie uses those poems and our epics to come up with a quiet type of theme...Instead of Sex and the City, since we are getting married in Westbury Manor with all of the gardens... it will be like romance in the gardens or love in the garden... I dont know, something like that. Not even sure if this makes sense but we are developing the idea and moving in that direction.

With my florist they can't take home any centerpieces... which I was a lil bummed about. So because of this I came up with the idea to make snowglobes that 1 person from the table can take home. I don't know what to put in them... but something wintery... since we are having a winter themed wedding. So maybe like one will be a pic of some snowflakes up close and personal... and then name the table something corresponding to the pic, instead of using numbers. It would be strange to take home a snowglobe with the number 5 on it! Ha ha ha. I haven't started working on this project just yet... but im my mind I love it... i just hope i can do it! I've never made snowglobes before... I'll cross that bridge when i get there though. And I'm sure I'll post lots of questions about it on the DIY posts.

Ha ha ha... at first I was like WHAT???!??!?!?! Is this a joke??? Then I saw you were getting married on halloween... so this made perfect sense! Ha ha ha! Cute idea!

We are trying to put little bits of our personality into the day....don't get me wrong, my wedding will be very elegant, we are doing a venetian/masquerade ball theme, but we thought it would be funny to tie some horror into the day!! LOL We just can't put the grandparents at the exorcist table!!!
