She Who Not be Named - 2nd Run - Still Not Thrilled

Here is here 2nd attempt. She is going to hate me because again not thrilled. I again asked for more green and a browner brown.

I actually like them both! I do like the top of #1 better though

If you aren't thrilled, write her back and have her make adjustments....I did countless times, and I still am not 100% thrilled at all!!!

You are paying a lot of $$, you need to be happy!!!!!!!!

She isn't going to hate you. She is super patient and really wants you to LOVE what she makes. Take your time. Discuss in tiny detail what you like a don't like and use her portfolio as a guide...

yeah, i agree it could definetly use some more green! i couldnt even notice that there was any! Other then that, they're really nice!!!!
Dont settle though until you are completely happy! It is her job to do what you want, thats what you are paying her for!!!

If you are still not thrilled, don't force yourself into it. I was in the same situation as you. I really wanted to use her because so many other people did and their invites looked AWESOME. But she didn't do anything for me that WOWED me (in my budget) so I moved on. You don't HAVE to use her. There are other people who do custom invites, maybe contact them and see whose work you like better. HTH!

let her know that you still dont like them, theres no reason you should be spending all this money for somehting you dont even like

i liked the 2nd one from yesterday. if you lik something from 1 of these, have her incorporate them together from yesterdays

Maybe you need a DIFFERENT SHADE of green? It seems that she is using a very dulled green. Maybe you want something a little brighter?

I had color issues with the invitations she made me too... what she told me was not to get caught up on the colors until the proof stage when i can see what the actual colors look like on the invitation.... it made alot of sense to me and when I saw her proof of my invite, I agreed.... so try not to get caught up on shades of colors until you see a proof.... focus on the design and the graphics and make sure you're happy with the look of the invitation.... you can change and adjust the actual design and paper colors once she makes your proof....because the actual colors don't end up looking like the computer mock-up colors.... this helped me alot so I just thought i'd pass it along...

By the way, she made me about 15 designs before i was happy with mine... so I agree, don't feel pressure to choose one... be happy with the final product!!

I loved the leaves on the one yesterday...I just thought it needed more green in the border or maybe the font somewhere. What if she did just your names in green?

i love the first one. maybe ask her to make the green in the leaves a little brighter and either do your names in green and the rest in brown, or the rest in green and your names in brown?
