SHEA STADIUM/SAND CASTLE WEDDING REVIEW

OK--so this was THE MOST AMAZING, AWESOME, OUTSTANDING Wedding I have ever been too!! Shea Stadium was amazing!! We had free reign over the field! Everyone though they died and went to Heaven! We got there and went through the players entrance and got greeted by Mr. Met! We then were led through all these hallways and all the sudden we were ON THE FIELD!! The ceremony was beautiful! You'll see from the pics that we were able to go in the dugout, run the bases, play ball on the field and do WHATEVER we wanted! They had peanuts, cracker jacks and drinks for us! It was sooo cute! They threw peanuts at them as they left the stadium! The program was outlined in innings it was really cute! Everything was on the Diamond Vison and when the camera went on us i kissed FH on the cheek! everyone was cracking up! it was by far one of the coolest experiences in our lives! my brother had a catch with my dad @ SHEA!! it was sooooooooo cool!! FH is a yankee fan so he loved it and had a blast but he was like 'YANKEE FAN COMING THROUGH!' he thought it was so cool though!

onto the sand castle---i had heard mixed reviews about it--but let me tell you--IT WAS AWESOME! If you are getting married here-HAVE NO WORRIES! the service was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING--everyone was sooooooo friendly and they kept coming around and refilling the waters & folding the napkins! I have not experienced service like this in a looooong time and i have been to a ton of weddings the past few years! now for the food--the cocktail hour was RIDICULOUS! there was soooooooooooooooooo much food!! and it was AWESOME! The main courses were amazing as well-well I had chicken fingers (I'm crazy) LOL but my brother and SIL had the stuffed shrimp & said it was awesome and my friend had the stuffed chicked and loved it-and my parents loved their meals also (i forget what they had) so it was a great wedding! Now--for the pics!

Oh my God this is the first time ever in history I will admit this freely. I am jealous as HELL.

After my wedding, I found on the Mets website that you can have Mr met come to you wedding - so if any brides are interested - it is on the mets site! I also had teased DH that I was sending an invite to the Mets organization care of John Franco, team captain but I was too busy and never got around to it. Seeing this I am sooo mad I didn't!

Neicey, my brother-in-law tried to get Mr. Met to appear at DH's bachelor party, they want like 3-5 grand an appearance.

I am serious, I would have slept with someone for this wedding, and DH would have allowed it.

This is the only the second wedding to take place here! The groom works for the METS that is the only reason they let him!!
