LONG story...but we have rethought that after a friend had a mixed experience. We had sort of confirmed but now are looking into other options. I am going to check out Creative Compositions and a couple city based recommended vendors.

I've seen a lot of his work lately from brides on the Knot and he does great work.. I know someone who does similar work if you're interested..FM for details.

OMG, that is MY dream honeymoon. FI wants us to do it longer than a few weeks though -- like go on a six week safari! I am not sure that he will ever get away from the office for that long--too much going on but we are going for about 3-31/2 weeks so I am working on maybe S. Africa. Where specifically?

We're doing a Safari in the Serengeti and then going to Zanzibar which is an island off the east coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean

It was amazing! The service is wonderul - attentive, friendly and helpful! The food is great - there are 7 restuarants and one is better than the next! The beach, pools, spa, room...all fabulous!

deb, i have wanted to go to the seychelles FOREVER. i read this article about them once and haven't been able to get over it since. so we are thinking about it too, though south pacific has recently become our top choice. we want to stay in one of those resorts with huts right on the water

Well he already made inquiries to the Maldives at this one resort and I think we will split the time. It is such a crazy long flight though, I am wondering if we should break it up with some time in Europe -- even a couple of days, you know?

Alex: You did say that you two were just going to graduate from med school -right -- are you limited on honeymoon time to start training? My friend's husband had to come back so he could do the beginning of residency.

We are planning on Greece- Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. I'm having a hard time making decisions- I need some kind of package, with some meals and excursions, all transportation and transfers included, we want to stay in the better hotels (b/c we get a better chance to get decent air conditioning in a nicer hotel), and we want to fly firts calss on the return trip. I saw some package deals, but I am not really sure if they will be a good fit. I would get really upset without good AC.
