Sheets LIKE this?

Sheets LIKE this?

I want to buy these sheets from Pottery Barn BUT they are only sold in 'sets'. Meaning I need to pay $130 for the set which includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet and 2 shams. I really want 4 shams and a fitted sheet and maybe a bedskirt. So I need to look elsewhere.

Any idea where I could find something like this:

I don't have an answer for you but I have to say that I HATE it when sheets are sold in sets!!! I need more than one fitted sheet (one for the matress and one for the box spring) and I like having additional pillowcases because they get worn out so fast. I don't want to have to buy TWO sets just to get what I need. Why do they do this?

How about this?

They are made by Ralph Lauren. Check their website:

Polo.com

Most sheets/cases are sold individually. Keep an eye out for good sales. The sheets are usually fairly expensive, but high quality.

Are you near Century 21? I used to find lots of sheet separates there.

Ss- that is exactly what i want!

But am I just cheap when I think that $70 for on sheet and $55 for a pillowcase is too much???? Is this how much bedding costs? Its only 280 thread count!

No, you are not cheap...those pricing are high. I didn't realize they were only 280 count.

Keep an eye out for sales. The 200 count blue and white stripes are now $ 24.99 for a queen fitted sheet. Solid are about $ 50 for queen fitted 370 count.

Good luck!!

Stef, if you can, go to a RL outlet store, they will be much cheaper there, and you'll find a whole bunch of prints like that and good quality too.

ETA: depending on the brand, 280 count can be softer than another's branch 360 count, etc........
Don't let the numbers dictate the sale

I would definitely try Century's and Linen's N'Things!
