Did either of you book Viedomaker? Just looking for an update! We haven't met with them yet but are checking out video soon. I hear a lot about Wild Rose on this sight. Have either of you compared the two? Thanks! Let me know how planning is going!

hi Deb-
Yes, we booked Videomaker. You can't really beat his price for what he includes and we liked him personally. Plus, he lives very close to me, so I feel better knowing that he can get to my house with little trouble. We are just picking our baby/couple pictures and will give him those next month so he can scan them before the Wedding.
He also promises a really quick turn around time, in just a few weeks after the wedding. Most other people we spoke to said we wouldn't see the video for at least 4 months! I like the idea of having the video so soon after the Wedding.
My wedding is this August, so I'll be able to report back with more details then.
I didn't check out Wild Rose but I think, since they are a small yet busy operation, they are one of the companies that take a few months to get you your video (which may not matter to you as long as you are happy with the outcome). We saw them at one of the bridal shows and they had good samples and seemed nice. Many people on this board are using them and they've received very good reviews. They were more expensive than Videomaker, though.
Good luck and let us know what happens.

I haven't visited either yet. After September I will begin visiting vendors. Since the wedding isn't until 3/04 I have some time before my day Our parents have yet to meet after ummm 4yrs and a half of us being together! My folks lead very very busy lives. Please let us know how it turns out with Videomaker. Happy Planning!

Thanks guys!
Shell Marie, Glad to hear you are happy with them. Our wedding is in September, so I guess we will have booked before your post. They are close to where I live too. Originally we weren't going to have video but we decided to go with it because I gives you live action of family. My parents are both deceased, so that kind of situation makes you think about getting video of family to keep for later. Might sound morbid, but I wish I had something like that of my parents, so It will be nice for my FI. We liked the videomaker price too, we will probably go with them when we get around to making an appointment (crazy busy!). I don't see the point of spending a lot on video. How many time will you really watch it anyway? Good luck! 8/24 is comming up fast !!! Thanks for the info.
