never been there myself..but i've heard excellent things!! A Few of my friends and family have been and they all loved it~ We want to go ourselves once money is a little less tight (which won't be til after nov. 7th of next yr...lmao)

It is beautiiful and relaxing. I have gone to camp there when I was younger and take day trips over occasionally. It is just great!

FH's dad has a house there and we go all the time. It is one of the most relaxing places and feels like you stepped back into a different place.

Had a great time during our weekend stay @ Shelter Island. We stayed @ the Pridwin. Not the most luxe place but so clean and the food was yummy. We had dinner one night at the Andre Balaz hotel Sunset Beach and it was a ripoff and the food was not good. Fun for drinks though!!

Im staying at the Pridwin. We got such an amazing deal! We were originally going to go for 3 nights but we got a fourth night free!!! Were only paying 750 for the hotel with breakfast included. We could have added dinner for 50 dollars extra a night but who knows if we wanna eat at the hotel the whole time were there. FH and I havent gone anywhere since 2004, its about time we did something.
