i was reading papillon's post and it made me think...I had asked tony at sherwood about getting a cd of digital proofs and he said they don't do that because it would kill their business if people printed the photos themselves...but is there an option to even get low res digital files? like to put together an online album...not like they'd be wedding album quality

Re: sherwood triart brides
I am sorry, but I never understood this philosophy. So many photogs out there give out their digital proofs. Why can some companies survive and others can't.
That was 1 thing that was a must for me. I am paying all this money, I better have the right to my pics when its over and done with

i totally agree!! we get all of our pics on a cd - either all or 1000 proofs (which is plenty to me). i didn't order thank you b/c i hate those traditional thank yous and eric at duet even suggested that when i had my digital proofs i could order thank yous through snapfish which would be cheaper than getting it from them! [love them!]

Re: sherwood triart brides
i've been working with kevin at sherwood triart. when we worked out the details of the contract, I asked for a CD of the proofs. He said they usually don't do it, but that he would. So he wrote it in my contract and said it's a high resolution cd! maybe you should ask again!!
