You should check out the Bridal Reviews. There are plenty of brides who have used them and have lots of feedback.

I am going with Patken! My future sister in law just used them this past summer and loved them! There prices are a little high, but I am getting married in '09 and they matched her quote from July '06!

I booked with Creative Compositions - no feedback for another few months but I really like their work. Their slideshow gave me goosebumps!
I really liked Angelica Glass' style but she was booked for my date. I looked forever trying to find someone who had a creative style.... I didn't want an album of pics that look like every other wedding. Hopefully I found them!

just my opinion but i didnt like that creative compositions writes 'proof' on the proofs and u don't get the digital files til like after your album is done...that was a big issue for us. also...the website has awesome pics that we did love...but then when i saw the proofs they looked a lot more traditional...so i think if u want more of the creative photos u have to def have the 2nd photographer...and on our quote they wrote that only 5 images were retouched/creative...which to me didnt seem like a lot.
i also liked angelica glass who wasnt available for my date...and imagine studios but they have a policy where u need to book photo and video
we are going to book with lina jang because we love her work and she sent me samples of edgy creative work that we loved which isnt on her site.
i would say if you're looking for creative stuff...also look into imagine studios and duet.

We are using Patken. we went to Sherwood triart and felt they were very overpriced. Patken work is fantastic and they are all so nice for less money., if you ask me same quality as sherwood

We are using Sherwood Triart. They did my FSIL's wedding and her photos were great. We liked the fact that they didn't try to push us into anything that we didn't want.They were a little bit more money than they other photographers that we visited and we feel that they are worth the money.

i think this varies for each bride. the printed proofs do not say proof on them. and i got my proofs on a cd way before my album. as far as not being traditional, you have to specify waht type of pictures you would like.. we had a mix of both which was lovely.

ohh for us they said 10 but that didn't seem like to much either. I liked the beach engagement shoot idea though. angelica glass looks amazing. so does lina jang. do either of them do video also? we're meeting with imagine studios this week hopefully, the girl from there is pregnant and due this week so we have to see what happens. they just did my cousins wedding in december, and loved the photos.

I whole-heartedly agree with this. There is no comparison there. I saw all three you asked about but I ultimately booked with Imagine.
Creative Compositions was extremely talented and I met with both of the main photographers, who were both really nice. The only reason I didn't book with them was b/c the package I wanted was just really expensive.
Sherwood Triart was also very talented and they were in my top 3. I dealt with Tony and he was great. They did my cousin's weddings and her pictures were outstanding.
I went to Patken based on my friend's recommendations who had used them. I did not like their sales approach at all. I also did not like the fact that they would not allow us to pick which photographer we wanted. We were sent there with a recommendation to get 1 of 2 specific photographers and they would not agree to that. The woman kept bragging to us that they do over 800 weddings a year but that doesn't impress me. What impresses me is quality and good customer service. We just did not feel we were getting either there. That being said, however, my friend's pics have all come out beautiful. I guess we just did not hit them right that day.
I ultimately booked Imagine, which obviously, was one of my favorites. My epics came out amazing and she was one of my best choices. Hands down. Good luck on your search!

i checked out sherwood triart for my wedding....while their photos are amazing, they wanted $9000 for their most basic package. NO THANKS! lol. i went with Thomaspaul, and every single one of my proofs are absolutely stunning. U can FM me if u'd like me to send u some.
