shirley temples?

4 ounces Ginger Ale
2/3 ounce Grenadine
2 ounces Orange Juice
Build in a highball glass. Add Ginger Ale and orange juice over ice and sprinkle grenadine over it. Garnish with a lemon slice and a cherry.

yummm.....when I was a kid and went to parties with my parents I used to order Shirley Temples because they made me feel like an adult.

I could be wrong, but I think that it's ginger ale and maraschino cherry juice?

Grenadine - supermarkets have it, but liquore stores DEFINITELY have it.

grenadine does have a very slight amount of liquor in it.

As far as a 'stiff' drink - grenadine is also used in drinks such as:
-Tequila Sunrise
-Vodka Martini
-Rum drinks

Naughty Shirley Temple
- 1 oz Grenadine
- 1 tbsp(s) Lime Juice
- 1-2 shot(s) Vodka
- 1/2 glass(es) Orange Juice
- 1/2 glass(es) 7-Up or Sprite

Directions/Comments: In a tall drinking glass with a few ice cubes, add about an ounce or so of grenadine, depending on how sweet you like your drink. Add the lime juice. Add the vodka, depending on how strong you like your drink. Add orange juice so the glass is over half full. Add and equal amount of 7-up or sprite. Stir up and enjoy!! Best drank through a straw.

I'm finding most of these on drink recipe websites so I guess you'd have to see if it tastes the way you'd expect.
