shirt question

shirt question

We have decided to go with suits, tan, for the groomsmen... now here is my dilemma

My dress, is not ivory its off white...now, what color do I get the groomsmen shirts?
White is too white right? But the ivory seems to be way too ivory lol

any suggestions?

I say have them in white shirts....ivory and white go together...I am thinking that an ivory shirt with the suit may look not as crisp....it may match too much with the suit.

Is your dress diamond white? If so, diamond white is usually closer to an ivory than white so I might go with ivory...i think that will look nice...are yous till doing the blue/brown thing? You could always use a blue color similar to your accent color!

well my dress is ivory...so FH is going to wear a white shirt with ivory vest and GM are going to wear white shirts with navy vests---i think you mainly see the vest anyway.

be careful with ivory shirts...sometimes they look more cream and look dingy. We had that experience when my FH had to rent a tux for an event. he's annoyed that I went with an ivory dress but I told him he can wear a white shirt with a ivory or (as the woman at Lilettes suggested) a satin white vest, or at least I think that's what she told me...hmmm.....i'll have to ask her again...
