This is probably a stupid question, but do our wedding-day shoes have to match our dress color exactly?? Every wedding-shoe place I've been to so far has been : a)obsessed with dyeables, and b) stocked up with extremely <> shoes that make my size 9 feet look like boats!
I'm planning on wearing crystal jewelry the day of, and was thinking about trying to find a pair of silver or crystally shoes to match. I actually found this pair of strappy silver blue tux ones that I LOVE....but my mom is telling me 'no!'
Do you girls think that metallic/non-white shoes would clash with my ivory dress?

did you try sandys in massapequa? they had some really gorgeous shoes, these are the ones i just bought
You can wear any type of shoes you want! You could go for some really pretty icy blue shoes if you want to make them your icy blue, or match your shoes to your BMs dresses! Or just get gold or silver or something glitzy. It's totally up to you.
Ivory dyed shoes sound a little bland anyway. Just have fun with it!

I want blue shoes because I love the color blue. I was thinking of using shoes the color of my bm dresses. But my mom, sis, dad, and fh all think I´m crazy!! I think I´m doing the white shoes for the ceremony and changing into blue ones for the reception (and maybe for some pics too!!)

I wore blues shoes and I have seen many girls wear colored shoes that matched their bridesmaid dresses. Its your wedding there are no rules for shoes. Wear what you like

I wore teal shoes to match my bm dresses and they were my somthing blue. Do what makes you happy!!!

You can wear whatever color shoes you want! I wore eggplant colored shoes that matched my BM dresses!
