I have an ivory wedding dress, but the shoes I like only come in dyeable white - can I dye them ivory or is that just weird?

You can totally dye them ivory!! Many people do.
My shoes happened to come in diamond white, but I would have dyed them if they didn't.
You'll need a swatch of material from your actual dress.

Here's another question - I'm getting married in August, do I need to wear open/strappy shoes or can I go for shoes that are open on the foot but closed on the toe?
