Shoe Dying
I am getting married in July. I would like the girls to get their shoes dyed to match their dresses. Anyone know a good store that can dye bridal shoes. We have our shoes and swatched from the girls dresses, but cannot find a shoe dye store. HELP! The wedding is in one month!

Re: Shoe Dying
Sorry I don't know of any that take shoes from another place. The store where you bought them, doesn't dye them? Can they recommend a place?

Re: Shoe Dying
I don't know where you are from, but Shoe Elegance in Lynbrook does it. I think it takes about 2 weeks. Also call some Shoe Repair places, I also know one in Lynbrook does it (and its only a few days).

There is also a place in Sunrise Mall (where the old PZAZ used to be)--and its a huge store w/ a zillion gowns and they have shoes and dye also. Im just not sure if they dye shoes not bought there.

Re: Shoe Dying
My girls got theirs dyed at Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa. Also there's Dyeing for You in Lindenhurst (I believe it's Lindenhurst).

Re: Shoe Dying
Shoe repair stores do this, too. (And you can usually find them near a train station, for convienence, I guess !)

More towards Sears, past JC Penney (past Sbarro on same side--I think?)

I know Craft Shoes in Commack does them but they charge you a bit more because you didn't get them there! GL
