Long story short, I cannot order my dress until I purchase my wedding shoes. I was told I needed to purchase them by the end of the month so that my dress will come in on time. Nbd for most people, but I need a one-inch heel, MAX two-inch. I cannot go above that.
So far I've looked for shoes in: Bloomingdales Macy's Nordstrom MJM Famous footwear DSW Craft shows in Commack Estelle's
I am planning to go to Sandys shoes tomorrow.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Ordering online is my last option since idk how long it's going to take. I'd rather purchase them from a store.
Thanks!

Lord and taylor is the only other place i can think of. I would be surprised if you didn't find anything at Sandy's, they have a large selection. My mom got 1 inch silver shoes there and they are great. They also will give 10 percent off if you ask, FYI :) good luck!!

Re: Shoe emergency!
Zappos is actually really easy to order online. Shipping is quick, free, and return shipping is free as well. I've ordered there plenty of times with no issues.

My dress is mostly lace and has a pretty large lace pattern at the bottom of the skirt. It's actually two pieces and they overlap at a certain point. To hem it, they said they can't just take off the bottom piece, hem it, and put it on top again- the pattern won't match up. So, I have to order the dress in the exact length that I will need, and that means I need my shoes. Ladies who are ordering lace dresses, beware of this!
And thank you all for the suggestions! Please keep them coming!

Re: Shoe emergency!
That's so weird that they said that they couldn't hem it. I had a lace dress with a scalloped hem-line detailing (Allure 8917) and there were no issues with ordering this dress. They actually had to hem a bit as the dress seemed uneven (I probably have one longer leg or something) and the seamstress did a WONDERFUL job. No one could tell that it was hemmed, including me and I was like a hawk with all of the detailing.

Beautiful dress and I'm glad your alterations were flawless!
The concern with mine was the overlay of the lace pattern and the best thing to do was to get measured correctly for height so any further alterations wouldn't jeopardize the lace pattern. If finding my shoes soon means I won't jeopardize the lace pattern, so be it!

I don't know what kind of shoes you're looking for, but I got mine at Target. They're basic nude kitten heels that I'm just going to find pretty clips for.

I ordered Badgley Mischka shoes from 6pm. They weren't very expensive and arrived in a few days.
